Can my Astute Device work on 5GHz networks?

Astute Devices can only work on 2.4GHz networks.

Note that if you have a dual 2.4 and 5 G router, switch off the 5G …unplug extenders , then pair devices on the 2.4 Ghz network.

@Silver_212 how would I know if I am on a dual band router?

@Silver_212 would I just switch off the 5GHz for the pairing? can I switch it back on after I have successfully paired my device

Many newer routers have dual output frequency 2.4 and 5 Ghz…if you can switch off the 5G transmission, then do so. Otherwise make sure that your mobile device is on the 2.4 Ghz frequency and then pair the Astute device on the same 2.4 Ghz frequency.
